Virtual Data Center Overview

The Virtual Data Center is an advanced Cloud-based computing platform designed the serve as the next generation replacement for traditional dedicated server and colocation services. The VDC provides the ability to self-provision and deploy high-availability Virtual Machines in minutes with a few simple clicks and then easily scale CPU, RAM and disk drive resources up or down as required with no need to purchase or maintain complex and expensive server hardware and related equipment.

The VDC supports all popular operating systems and software including Linux, Windows, FreeBSD, Solaris etc. Virtual Machines offer the same levels of functionality and control as regular dedicated servers with guaranteed hardware power (CPU/RAM) and dedicated disk drive resources. The Virtual Data Centers are a fully redundant design which incorporate integrated data replication and backup utilizing automated drive image snapshots and other comprehensive hardware layer data replication technologies.

The VDC Manager Control Panel

The VDC Manager interface is a brandable (your logo) multi-level control panel system which provides the ability to manage all aspects of your Virtual Data Center including the ability to create and deploy new Virtual Machines, start, stop and destroy existing ones and scale CPU, RAM and disk drive resources up or down as needed.

You can provide your customers and users with login access to your own branded control panel where they can access their servers by remote console (VNC/IPMI) and install or re-install the server operating system, reboot, power down or power up their servers and view graphical server bandwidth usage statistics.

As the manager of your Virtual Data Center on logging into the the VDC Manager control panel you will be presented with a screen which provides and overview the Virtual Machines you have in your VDC, the Administrative Groups set up for VDC management and the configured storage devices attached to your VDC.
